Didn't take any pics today - it was too fun filled with eggplant parmesan, starbucks and wonderful company. Here's to friendship :)

The bus broke down in the middle of the road!!! Waited half an hour standing in the middle of no where for the next one to show up. Oh well, at least it wasn't too hot! Took a pic from my cell phone, need to find a blue tooth device to upload it. Note to self - must get a smart phone!

Exam day - wish I had taken a pic of that monster serving of fries that I had after bombing my exam (or so I thought). Ah well, no pic no evidence. All is good :)

Was a nervous wreck - had exam the very next day and had been slacking off a little. Didn't go out at all so no pic!
We have some catching up to do!
So I was feeling pretty smug about completing one quarter of my self imposed challenge - and that is when I tripped! No posts for over a month! But I have a good excuse dear readers (how few you might be!) - you already know how crazy busy it has been. BUT I was good - I was taking pictures, I just wasn't getting time to post 'em - and I promise to be fairly regular from now on again (or at least till the next exam). So let's catch up on the last one month, shall we?

Am in a good mood today. No picture yet, but had another one of those 'oh my mind is a camera' moments. Plus I felt a little chatty :)
I realized how all of us kind of walk to a little beat - kind of like an inaudible sountrack in the background. Or maybe just that lack of sunshine has my mood upbeat. Either ways, I recommend this. Next time you are walking on a busy busy road, put on your headphones and have a nice upbeat song with some nice rythme blasting through your ipod (or zune or whatever it is you like). Then people watch - we all sway our hips to some unheard of music, I swear I could time it to my song. The movements of the arms, the bends, the turns - I even saw a dog trotting to the song I was listening to!! I think I had a goofy smile on my face by the time I reached the book store and had to write this down.
It was silly but was fun. I might have to try it again some day. And then everyone will dance to my tune!

Sometimes, a picture does not need a camera to be captured, it gets captured in your head. Or you have to capture it in your head because you forget your stupid camera at home! As I was walking back to the office for a meeting, I wished I had my camera - the first reason was coz' they were shooting transformers, this time from a copter. Could've had an awesome shot of a helicopter. But sigh!
The second reason made me feel worse, now I really really wished I hadn't left my camera at home. And it made me realize how some laws can save your life and probably mean the difference between life and death.
As I walked closer to my office, I noted that one side of Michigan ave. (as if you haven't figured out where I am based yet - ha!) was in a total gridlock. There was a laaaaaarge bus turned at an awkward angle making the resolution of the jam even more trickier. And then I heard the wail of an ambulance from 5 blocks down! There was no way the ambulance could have made it on the right side, so the ambulance guy just drove through oncoming traffic lane! And boy did he maneuver! It would have made a nice shot, I know I took the picture in my head.

It's two weeks before my next exam - yep I scheduled it for August 9th finally. I am still going out for my daily picture hunt but the route is the same everyday - home to borders and back. Having said that, yes I have pictures for you my dear blog. I haven't forgotten about you, since you are one stable thing in my life. But I think I might be highly irregular in putting them up for the next few days. So stay tuned!
